Campus Hub & Library
The heart of this project is the “Great Room”, a large ground floor double-height space in the Hub opening directly onto the new courtyard creating a pairing of indoor and outdoor spaces. A nucleus for the social and learning activities of the University. Large automated sliding doors allow both spaces to seamlesslymerge.

We began working together in 1968. Every day, we make architecture that responds with spirit and ingenuity to the pressing challenges of our time: the need for sustainable design, quality housing, public spaces that reflect the community, and genuinecollaboration.
Our team is a close-knit group of specialists in architecture, interior design, urban planning and landscape architecture. Over the last half-century the practice has pioneered a sustainable approach to architecture through a strikingly wide and original range of work from urban masterplans, to public infrastructure, civic and cultural buildings, offices and workplaces, and privatehousing.

Christchurch Civic Building
In October 2007 Christchurch City Council selected the NZ Post building in Hereford Street as the preferred site for its new Civic Building. The existing building has been redeveloped to provide A-grade office space for approximately 1,200 staff and was completed in August 2010.

Takapuna
House
This beach front site is narrow and long and is one of the few sections that opens generously onto the public domain. The existing lawn and mature trees were retained and a simple axial stepped path extends from the house to thebeach.
